BMC Trad Climbing Improvers

A one day workshop looking at improving your trad climbing skills for BMC club members.

This one day workshop that recaps good practice in placing gear, building belays and the different ways to equalise belays. You will then spend time looking at further skills like abseiling into crags and prussicing back up the abseil rope, protecting your second and retreating of a route.
The day will be spent at a crag developing these skills and then testing your rope systems.

As the day will be spent outside learning by doing, please make sure you have the equipment needed to spend 6 hours outside potentially in damp weather.
