Guided Walks Overview
Our guided walks cover a wide range of hill and mountain environments. From the rolling uplands of the Peak District to the jagged peaks of Snowdonia, the scenic splendours of the Lake District and the mighty mountains of Scotland. Our walks are led by one of our small team of highly qualified and superbly experienced instructors.
We seek out not just great walking, but interesting places and aim to showcase an area, its wildlife and history whilst also acting responsibly and supporting the local economy. We try and stay in locally owned hotels and wherever possible eat locally produced food. Fortunately now its quite easy to sup locally produced beer or spirits! Caring for the environment and supporting the local economy is one of our passions and why we hold the prestigious Environmental Quality Mark.
We do not offer big group holidays or rigid itineraries as we strongly believe that a good leader matches the environment with the aims of the group. So, we won’t walk along a ridge in a howling gale or do the longest walk of the week on the hottest day of the year. Instead, what you get is many years of mountain knowledge and experience in leading groups all over the world giving you a variety of options each a day to suit the weather and energy levels.
What you will find listed in the adventures below, are some suggested walking options, that we could do weather permitting.
Our home base that we know and love so much. Stunning walking in both the White and Dark Peak. A fun week that takes in the highlights of the area. This often includes; the aircraft wrecks of Kinder Scout, the mighty dams of the Derwent, The Great Ridge, Chatsworth and more!

There are so many great routes to choose from in Snowdonia that two days simply are not enough. A week allows us to get off the beaten track and really discover Snowdonia, and experience not only the highly popular classics but also the hidden mountain gems.
