Courses are delivered by friendly, highly qualified instructors who create a supportive environment to guide you at your own pace in learning new skills.

Scrambling Courses
Our scrambling courses, such as our Introduction to Scrambling, provide a fun and rewarding experience for all participants. These courses are best suited for summer hillwalkers with minimal or no experience in scrambling or rock climbing. Our highly qualified instructors will be on hand to ensure the course moves at a pace that the entire group is comfortable with.
Advanced Scrambling Courses
For advanced scrambling courses such as our five-day Skye Scrambling course, we highly recommend only those who are confident hillwalkers or accomplished scramblers with experience at grade one book these trips. It will also help significantly if you are confident in your ability to manage your fear at height.

Experience & Fitness Requirements
We are proud to offer bespoke scrambling courses, tailored to suit the experience level of attendees.
- To book onto our Introduction to Scrambling course, only a basic level of fitness is required, and it is well-suited for summer hillwalkers.
- No prior knowledge of scrambling or rock climbing is required for this course.
- For more advanced scrambling courses, we recommend completing the Introduction to Scrambling course before booking.
- Advanced scrambling courses should only be booked by confident hillwalkers and those with experience of scrambling on at least grade one routes.
Private & Bespoke Scrambling Courses
We can be hired to privately instruct these courses at a specific location or on a specific date to suit your requirements. Private instruction in summer is £275 per day. Simply contact the office to enquire.

How Much Does a Scrambling Course Cost?
We offer our Introduction to Scrambling course from £185 per person. For more advanced courses such as our five-day Skye Scrambling course, spots are available from £795 per person. For bespoke enquiries, simply get in touch, and we will be happy to provide a quote.
What Equipment Will I Need for a Scrambling Course?
Essential items for you to bring with you will include suitable outdoor clothing and footwear. All the necessary technical equipment will be provided by our instructors during your course. Once you book your chosen course, you will receive detailed joining instructions, which will include a list of any equipment that you will need to bring.
What Accommodation Options Are There for Scrambling Courses?
Our scrambling courses are non-residential, so you will need to choose where you stay during your course. Our instructors can suggest suitable accommodation options nearby; whether you choose to stay in a hotel or on a campsite will depend on your preference.
