Navigation Training in the Peak District

The Peak District is one of the best locations in the UK for learning navigation. Our courses are based in Bamford (S33 0DY), with easy access to a wide variety of terrain, including:

  • Gentle valleys and woodland for introductory navigation
  • Open access moorland for advanced map reading
  • Featureless plateaus such as Kinder Scout and Bleaklow
  • Complex terrain ideal for developing confidence and decision-making skills

This variety allows us to progress your skills quickly and in real-to-life environments, from basic map reading to advanced navigation in challenging conditions.

The area is also highly accessible, with direct rail links from central London in around 2.5 hours.
