DECLARATION FOR THE ACCEPTANCE OF RISK
An adventure by definition is an activity where the outcome is uncertain. Reducing the uncertainty by skilfully managing the variables is what we as highly qualified and experienced mountain professionals do.
The hills and mountains that we work and play in are not however a theme park, and we can’t control all the variables. Weather changes, snow falls, roads get blocked, helicopters can’t fly and a variety of other things can happen which are outside of our control. If these things happen, we do our best, but we can’t guarantee the adventure you book is the exact adventure you get. That after all, is why it’s an adventure.
When you book on an activity you need to accept that the fun, adventure and uncertainty you seek carry with them risk. In the worst case this may be of injury or death. You must be aware of these risks and be responsible for your own actions and involvement.
