Challenge Abseil
Abseiling is a brilliant event that we can bring to you. Depending on the venue, it can be accessible to everyone and we have abseiled wheelchairs, spidermen and a few fancy dress chickens!
It’s a great way to bond as a team through a shared experience or raise funds for your worthy cause.
Beyond the Edge are one of the most experienced providers of mountain adventures in the UK and our abseil event directors are both hugely qualified and experienced. We think its important that the event is run in a fun and friendly manner, and, take great pride in the very high percentage of individuals who return for further events and courses.
The Challenge Abseil event runs on on a bespoke basis. Please contact the office and we will arrange a package to suit your requirements.
Family / Team Building Challenge Abseil Event
For family, friends or team building abseils, you normally come to us. Â This makes the process very simple and easy.
We need to know a date, roughly how many people and if you want a 20m cliff abseil or a 30m bridge abseil. We will then give you a quote. If you want to go ahead its a simple booking form and that’s it.
On the day turn up and have a great time 😃
Charity Challenge Abseil Event
Charity Challenge Abseils normally start with you getting in contact and arranging a call back from one of our team. This person normally then remains your main point of contact throughout. We go through some broad outlines such as what sort of abseil (building or natural) and where, how many people (if you know) and any special requirements.
After this we will usually arrange a site visit to check feasibility and prepare any Risk Assessments. Depending on the scope and location this is normally one day and costs between £150 and £350.
After a site visit and some further discussions, we prepare a comprehensive quote.
If you choose to go ahead, we require a 20% deposit and on receipt, send you all the necessary Risk Assessments and Participant information packs.
One month before the event we require payment in full.
In the immediate run up to the event we are on hand to help answer any last minute queries.
The event happens and we can provide media imagery as required.

Can we book other challenges at the same time?
Yes.
In addition to your abseil, you can do rock climbing, weaselling or go for a hill walk.
If you want a truly bespoke challenge we can arrange team building days or weeks on remote Scottish islands. Our background allows us to do pretty much anything depending on the depth of your pocket.
